Stuttering (i've tried everything)
(1/1)
Itomix:
I'm running the newest build of rockbox on my ipod color and i've tried everything, but it keeps skipping when playing songs.
I've tried disk caching both on and off, increacing the anti skip buffer, changing WPS to one without the peak meter.... (a few actually) all my songs keep skipping randomly like 5 or so times a song and its reaaaaly annoying.
Does anyone know of anything I can do to make my songs not skip, or has anyone been sucessful in having an ipod photo play songs without skipping?
EQ is off... in fact all music enhancers are off except crossfade.
Thanks for the help!

nls:
Which codec are you using and at what bitrate?
Itomix:
it was doing it with mp3, wma, and ogg at all bitrates. (128-320kbs)
However, I set load database into ram, and for some reason that fixed the stuttering completly... tho i'm pretty clueless as to why that would fix it...
Itomix:
well.. thats embarrassing.
It wasn't rockbox's fault at all.
At the same time I set database to load to ram, I moved away from my computer, and since i'm using bluetooth headphones, the wireless on my laptop was interfering, causing the skips...
Sorry about that..
