e200 fails to boot

My sansa bricked and i mangied to restore it back to working order. When i turned it on later it does nothing. no blue ring or screen power up. Im not sure whats happened and the battery was charged.

Any help would be great.

Try holding down the power button for >15 seconds, and then powering it up again.

Allegedly it's possible to 'hang' a sansa in a state where it looks like it's off - but it isn't really. Doing the above should reset it and let you power it on again if it's in such a state.

Taking the battery out dosn't change anthing no lights or screen power.

I had that the other day on my c200, where it appeared completely dead although the battery was fully charged. Removing the battery made no difference. I then left it charging for a bit and eventually, on holding the power button for long enough it appeared to reset itself...

It'll recover eventually, I'm sure.

Ive had the player on charge all day and it still dosn'e turn on

Occaionly i can get the player to turn the blue light on but the screen still dose not display anything.
Also windows can detect the player whne i plug it in but cann't fing drivers for it. and can not interface with it

Linux dose not detect it and the e200tool can not find it. the light on my hub lights up for a copple of seconds when i plug it in to the linux comp.
