I don't really like the Rockbox interface to be honest. I only want to get Micro SDHC support on my e200. If there a way for me to install just that option and leave everything else alone?

No, you must install rockbox or not. The OF does not support SDHC cards, only rockbox (with its whole interface) supports SDHC.

What Zajacattack hasn't gone on to explain is this:
Rockbox is an entire firmware. It's built from the ground up and does not interact with or contain parts of the original firmware. The reason you must use Rockbox isn't that we've intentionally gone out of the way to keep you from having the extra features or anything. It's just that there's no simple way to modify the original firmware, closed source as it is, to have any improvements. But modifying the original firmware is outside the scope of this project, and doesn't belong on these forums.
