Bookmarks not working after reboot (Sansa e250)
Taslow:
When bookmarking an audio file on my Sansa, those bookmarks only seem to be working properly before the next time my Sansa is powered down and rebooted. In other words, once I power off my player and turn it back on later, the bookmarks no longer load properly. If I choose to resume from a bookmarked point, the Sansa loads the bookmarked spot, then immediately resets the timer to zero and begins playing from the beginning of the file.
I had made some changes to the bookmark settings, but have since reset them to the settings I had when everything worked perfectly (which it used to do). The only thing I can possibly think that changed is I loaded the latest build of Rockbox up about a week ago. Other than that, I can't figure out what changed to make bookmarks stop working.
Any ideas?
Lear:
Try a newer build (one from Feb 12 or later). That solved the problem for me.

Same problem here, but with the latest builds, I.E. after Feb 12. Bookmarking is screwed up. What settings are you using? I've got create bookmarks on stop on, load bookmarks at start on (or off - doesn't seem to matter).
edit - fixed my problem with an older build.
Taslow:
Agreed - settings don't seem to matter much. For the record, I've got create bookmarks on stop set to "ask me" and the same for load upon playing. The frustrating thing is that they seem to work fine until I have to turn off the player and restart it.
I'll reload an old build, but I like some things about the new build (i.e. the mpeg player enhancements) so it's a shame to have to backstep.
sduck:
From what I read somewhere on this forum, the bookmarking/restarting problems began on the 19th of January, so any build previous to that will still work - I think the archived daily builds go to the 17th or 18th as of today, so grab them now. Some have also reported the very newest builds working for them, so maybe it's something being actively worked on.
