sansa c250 - fm preset lists don't work

helm:
read the topic about the e260, have a similar problem. edited a preset list named "Wien.fmr" and stored it correctly in the fmpresets-folder. list is displayed correctly on the player. checked my config.cfg-file, the line "fmr: /.rockbox/fmpresets/Wien.fmr" is there.

PROBLEM: if i try to load this list, no action is taken. the menu points concerning the preset-lists seem to be without function. also deleting or saving a preset list don't work, nothing happens when selecting these functions. would be very useful to save several preset lists for different regions, if these functions would work.

only way to save some presets that worked was to search stations and add presets manually, and saving the changes when quitting the fm-tuner.

QUESTIONS:

- is this a known issue?
- did i go wrong somewhere?
- any other ways to get the preset-lists working?

Please tell us which version of Rockbox you're using.  I can change between channels in my preset.fmr list using r19938 on my e280.  I can also clear, save and load preset lists.  If this really doesn't work on your c250 then this sounds like a bug.

my rockbox version is r16248-08020. updating impossible at the moment, see:

That's a year old.  Please update and try again.  This is very specifically required in the posting guidelines.

Reading your other post you linked, this seems to be just the standard Mac unzipping sillyness that doesn't stop you updating at all.
