(1/1)

When I plug my C250 into my computer it knows it plugged in, but when it go's back to the original OS it does not say connecting or connected(I can access my music from my computer). Can anyone help?

Thanks.

I also experience this sometimes, usually when I try connecting to an old laptop with a slow USB port. In this case it helps if I just boot into the original firmware manually before plugging the cable. You need to hold |

I was reading this: http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=15298.0 could it be the same thing?(easy as putting some OF.mi4 file in the SYSTEM folder)

If so were do I find this OF.mi4 file.

Or it is not the same deal becasue that persons has a E250r?

I understand your first post as "on USB connection, my player will reboot and start in the original firmware, only the original firmware doesn't register the USB connection". If the original firmware starts correctly in this automatic procedure, then you definitely should be able to do it manually too. There is no need to restore something like in the thread you linked.

Have you tried my suggestion and booted your c250 into the Sansa firmware manually (while it is not connected) and then plugged the USB cable after the original firmware is up and running?

Yes and it does connect and run fine(but I would like to find away to not have to do this).

If it's the only way then that is fine.
