rockbox dousnt read songs, help!

i switch from rockbox to regular apple firmware and sync my songs from itunes when i do this my regular apple firmware gets the songs but when i switch back to rockbox it dousnt have the songs in my database. help is appreciated.

What extension do these files have?

And do you have the Rockbox database set to auto-update?

i set on auto update and rebooted it and still the music files wont show up, when i first installed rockbox to it and clicked on database it scanned the disk and my music showed up, now when i try to add music it wont show up

my file extensions i am using are mpeg-4 and there unlocked

All your files have .mpeg-4 as the extension?

That's pretty unusual - why do you use that ?

i got them off cd i could be wrong though..
