Delay when changing songs

(1/1)

Speedy64i:
Hello,

I'm having a strange problem on my e280R, when i change songs more than 3-5 times in a row, i have to wait upwards of 10 or so seconds before the current song stops playing and the new one begins.  My old archos jukebox never had this happen, i could change songs as fast and as much as i wanted.  If i do this on any of the build from the last couple months on my e280R it will cause an increasing delay on playing the next song depending on how many times i hit the button.  I know the first builds i used when the Rhapsody unlocker was first available didnt do this.  With the addition of the wps files that show the next song i find myself double hitting the next button alot, and this sometimes caauses the long delay.  Also if i hit the butt say 10 or so time just to be silly, the displayed file names will start doing weird things like chopping off the first letter.  I just deleted my whole rockbox install and replaced it with the latest build with no customizations and it still does this.

I know someone will say, well just dont hit it more than once every few seconds.  But i cant stop! it's an addiction that i got when rockbox was newer and it didnt care!

Thanks lot :)

The same here and I hate that behaviour.
But I think there will come someone along and tell us not to post that here but to open a bug report on flyspray  ::)

I think it has something to do with the Audiobuffer which is much too high on the Sansa.

Some e200 users have better luck with older builds or other system settings:
