Boxagonal Blue/Black theme for 5g ipod

hi all, i have decided to release the theme i am currently using on my 5g ipod as i really like it and hope some of you will too:

had an iriver H340 for years (practically since launch) and had rockbox on it before it could play music and made several themes for that at varying stages in its development from basic coloured text to the wonders of backdrops and magic pink. But i needed more storage space and so a rockboxed ipod was the logical choise :D i booted it once into the official firmware to check it worked (bourght second hand) then on went rockbox, itunes be damned ;D
quickly getting bored of the stock look i decided to make my own theme and here we are

Excellent theme! I especially love your own icons. Can you tell me how you made them?

i am glad you like my theme, and as for the icons, i made them the same size as the status icons... then resized them in irfanview and finished them off pixelwise in mspaint :D

some of the smaller icons (the folder for instance) were done entirly in paint :)

as for photoshop they use black inner and outer glows on slight gradient overlays

Chronon:
It all looks nice except for the slanted font (italic?) at the bottom.  Does it really look that blocky?  Is that intentional?

bascule:
I think that may just be scrolling text captured 'in motion...'
