codac error

i have a 1st G ipod nano I switched to the regular apple firmaware and syced my ipod and put all my music on it, then i switched back rockbox and it said something about rebooting it which i did, now everytime i try to play a song it says "codac error" any help? sry if im posting in the wrong topic

You should provide the revision number of the build you're using, as required by the guidelines.

Two things to try:

  • Clear your settings
  • Update to a current build

Well, if your music is purchased in iTunes, you have to unlock it to play it in rockbox.

Do a google search to find many good ideas (e.g. burn it to a CD and re-rip it), but I cannot go into further discussion here.

hopefully this isnt pushing it, but is unlocking itunes music the only way for me to get it to play on rockbox?
