Ipod 3gen support

Hello,

about half a year ago I tried to install Rockbox on my 3gen iPod and it worked badly (the touch wheel didn't respond as it should).
I saw now that the 3rd gen support is displayed on the front page - was the iPod 3rd generation support improved? is it working now?

Support for the 3rd Gen iPod has improved quite a lot in that time. Why not give it another go-round?
