WinPod versus MacPod installation

Why is it that rockbox can only be installed on winpods and not macpods? I just thought this was just kind of weird seeing as how there is a mac version of the rockbox installer.

A macipod is just slang for one thats been formated with HFS+ instead of fat32.  Rockbox requires a fat32 formatted disk.  It will work fine with MacOS though, which is why theres a Mac installer.  Check out the install directions, its all in there.
