My sansa e250r won't turn on. When i hit the power button nothing happens. it doesn't even light up. The only way the computer will reconize it is if it is in recovery mode.

Is it an unfixable brick

please help.

If it's "unfixable" then nothing can be done to fix it, so why ask for help?

If you just messed up the installation you can find a ton of threads started by people in exactly the same situation, who zajacattack walked step-by-step-by-step through the recovery process.

But if it's really broken like you say you should just throw it out the window and forget about it.

I meant it as a question. i wasn't sure if it could still be fixed. also if you could give me a link that walks me through the recovery process that would be great.

Dos) Search the forums.  Or, alternatively, you could post some useful information regarding what you've done so far (did you even try to install Rockbox?) and someone might be able to help you personally.

okay i'll search the forum.

I did try and install rockbox.

I even tried putting the .mid4 file on while the sansa was in recovery mode.
