« on: February 02, 2008, 03:22:42 PM »
Hey all,

I am considering changing the firmware and  I was wondering if my ipod will work with my ipod jenson alarm clock and my ilive ipod speakers.

Thanks.

Look in the wiki under the IpodPort page.  If they haven't been tested with Rockbox yet, you could always install it and find out, then report back so the next person with those accessories doesn't have to.  Boys Scout good deed of the day?

Take a look in the manual for your player.  In the installation section there should also be an explanation of how to uninstall.

You do know that you can dual boot, don't you?  If you want to use the accessories you can boot the Apple firmware.  Then, to get it to go back into Rockbox requires a hard reset.  Simply sleeping the unit will leave it in the Apple firmware.
