Hold MENU+SELECT to
reboot then SELECT+PLAY
for disk mode
and i do that and it does nothing... what shall i do cause i dont want to lose my ipod.
Chronon:
You can also try holding MENU + SELECT to reboot, then immediately turn on the Hold switch. This should boot into the Apple firmware and you can connect via USB. You apparently installed the bootloader, but did not correctly extract the firmware to your player.

i am having the same problem
im using the OS X installer app and im using complete installation...
what do i do?? ???
Chronon:
It tells you what to do. Put it into Disk Mode and make sure that the firmware exists in the correct location. Have you done that?
azn.soulja:
what do you mean the right spot? like where?
