Files are not working on my Sansa e260

Hi

I have extracted all of the files from the zip folder onto my sansa, it says that the files are on the sansa, but when i turn it on, its the same as it was before. I dont know if i am doing something wrong or there is something wrong with the e260. I have read the manual and it wasnt very much help because my sansa seems to be the same after downloading rockbox files. Sorry if this was already answered, but i searched and i couldnt find anything on it. If anyone could help that would be great.

Go through the steps in the manual a little more carefully and pay particular attention to mentions of a "bootloader".  That seems to be the ingredient you're missing.

I reread what you said to, and everything is working perfectly, thanks. I just have one more problem and that is making a playlist, it says a bunch of numbers and then goes back to the playlist screen. I will just go back and read through the manual again.
