rockbox doesn't play my files (was: Please help)

im new to rockbox. so please put you wording in a way i could easily understand (sorry).

when i try to listen to some of my music, it loads up the song fine but instead of playing it, it boots me back to the select a song page.

could anyone tell me how to fix it so i can listen to ALL my music on rockbox.

What type of music file?

it is WMA
(if thats what your asking)

Are they DRMed?  If not, how did you encode them?
