Unable To Load RockBox

Hey All,
   I've installed rockbox on my 5.5G iPod and it seems that all it'll do is to reboot into the Apple software.

Any help appreciated

1.  What steps did you take to install Rockbox?  
2.  Are you certain that you installed the bootloader?  
3.  What happens when you reset the ipod by pressing and holding the MENU and SELECT buttons simultaneously?
