ifp-999?

I don't seem to be able to find anything by searching for it here---maybe because the ifp-999 was only released in Asia? (I live in Japan)

Does anyone know if i could put Rockbox on the ifp-999?  

Also, the ifp-999 plays oggs, but only if they're 96kb or above.  Even encoding at q5, some tracks occasionally fall below 96kb, meaning I have to reencode just those tracks at a higher level.  Would installing Rockbox solve that problem?

Rockbox does not support the iFP-9xx series. There was an effort to port to the iFP-7xx series, but that port has stalled.
