Hmmm that's funny.... I have replace the presets.xml with http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/pub/Main/PluginMpegplayer/presets.xml

However WinFF doesnt seem to have updated according to the new preset.

I see none of the presets of that xml file in WinFF

Are you using the right version of WinFF as per the wiki, or are you using the newest version?

Perhaps with the updated version of WinFF,  a set of  exported settings should be added to the wiki so that users can import the ones they need, instead of a complete list since preset.xml doesn't seem to work with the new version

I plan to eventually upload a new set of settings for the newer version, slightly more optimized than the current ones. Until then, though, you'll need to manually add them, or use 29.

Perhaps a good idea would be to add in the wiki that presets.xml doesn't update with the latest version of WinFF.

It would have certainly helped me,  and we wouldn't have had this thread ;o)

It didn't specify not to download the updated version
updates are done for a reason, and i use the updated version of everything unless there are major security risks, or the update is absolute crap.

Also, I didn't pay attention as to when the wiki was written, and when 0.33 was released.  for all I know,  0.33 could have been released 2 days before I started this

Excellent!  That worked.  I replaced it in that folder and the settings took.

Sorry, but attempting to register only gave me an blank page with "{ScriptUrlPath}/view/TWiki/TWikiRegistration" on it...  Never used a wiki page, never registered for any wiki, which is why I didn't bother to do it myself (Laziness in trying to figure out how, and why I got the error)
