I have a question based on something that is said in the Apple iPod Video manual:
Mine is Mac formatted, and I need to switch it to Windows (FAT32) format, but I'd just like some clarification. When I reformat my iPod to the Windows format, it will wipe my drive, and I will need to reinstall my music; the manual says "Note that after conversion, you can still use a FAT32 Ipod on a Mac." What exactly does this mean?
Will I be able to mount my player in the normal way, have iTunes open, and copy over music just as before? What about file formats that iTunes will not read, like FLAC, OGG, DiVX movies, and other such files?
If this is not the proper forum for this, please direct me to the proper one.
Thanks for developing what I have been told by my rockbox-using peers to be a jewel of open source media software.
