Rockbox unstable on Ipod Video??

I had liked rockbox for many reasons mainly eq and plugins but on my 5g 60 gb and my 5.5g 80 gb i have a problem where at first rockbox is fine i can play plugins and music at once and its fast, no delay or lag but after a week its so slow that navagating menus takes forever and database searches for 2000 songs before playing nothing works even if no musi plays it freezes and now it says scanning disk when rockbox starts or it will be tuck on the rockbox screen for a minute. im worried its damging my ipod, i am dual booting apple os and rockbox aplles od works finebut rockbox (which is used more) is getting annoying.and is there newer versions of evilg's build??  ive try tweaking so many settings to fix this and it doesnt help it sometimes stops playing music in the now playing screen am i doing something wrong??? is it a virus?? or something im using evilGs build which was not on my 5g and i had the problem then. an d does using my ipod as a hard drive cause this(i store alot of files on them like backups and sometimes i copy my itunes folder) whats up???

Yes but my 5g had the official build and it too did this so i am wondering if its something else also does the official builds support the themes like flow and j-clix ill use official if yes

We don't support any builds but the official one.  If you're having trouble with some unofficial build, I suggest using the official one.  Its generally considered more stable then 3rd party builds.
