Hey, in the interest to redesigning rockbox for better user functionality, I would like to ask the mods if I would be able to use this topic as a poll to see exactly where and what users have trouble with.
Would that be OK?

1) "user interface and voice" forum.
2) just put your suggestions down and se if there is any interest.... dont bloody ask to ask

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

Go ahead, but remember no matter how noisy you are, that doesn't mean it'll change the direction of the project.

I was talking to kkurbjun today and we agreed that it would be nice if someone would do a serious usability study, maybe as a gsoc project. I've added it here:
