iPod 5G freezes after about 30 minutes of playing

From what I understand you have to actually delete them from your MP3s, I could be wrong though, maybe someone with experience can confirm?

today i was running for 45 minutes playing a 192 kb/s mp3 folder without problem: album art isn't in every file...i was thinking about looking in the source code for the "album art loading function" and trying to comment it out...
another question, could it help if i turn the "debug mode" on?

i've noticed a "debug item" in MainMenu->System...isn't it?
