Losing my place on iRiver
« on: January 24, 2008, 05:08:37 AM »
Love Rockbox, use it on my ihp140, but after a problem with my iRiver settings and the player freaking out a bit, my Rockbox is also being tempermental.   Whereas before, when it was turned off and on again, it used to pick up right where it left off, including its place in the directory, now -- while it still picks up on the last album and song that was playing, press "Navi" and it goes back to the main list of artists.  sometimes, as well, it will be playing an album quite happily but, when you go to press "Navi", it will show the songs on that album but not have the one that was just playing highlighted -- just the list of songs on the album.

It's a minor glitch, but I thought I'd ask.  I've still got version 3 -- would updating help?

Thanks,

Adam K.

Hi,

could it be that you have the option "Follow Playlist" (in General Settings => File View) disabled?

There is no "version 3". What are you talking about?

Perhaps the bootloader: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/IriverBoot#H1xx_Bootloader_v6
