Sansa e260 v1 Freeze when hooked to USB

Hi Everyone,  Firstly, I tried to move my own post and cannot, can someone do this for me?

I am sorry If this has been answered, I tried to search around some before I posted but am in a bit of a rush today so havent had time to look 100%.  I have read in one post that RockBox doesnt support USB connection with the sansa and you have to boot into the orig firmware?

My question is that is this a tempory issue taht is being worked on?  Or is there a work around I can use to get rockbox not to freeze when I hook it to the computers USB port?  I really would like to be able to playback music under rockbox while it is charging without it freeze.  The only way I can get it to unfreeze is unscrew the back cover then remove the battery.

If anyone has any input or can help with a solution I would greatly appreciate it!

p.s. also off topic question.  Is there a spot in the rockbox firmware menus to disable the "record" button on the side.  I hit this on accident and it takes me out of the song I am listening to.  I didnt notice one but I may be blind today as well.

USB handler  - The Sansa recognises when the USB has been plugged in, but does nothing more.

OK:
1) Yes, Zagor was working on it, not sure how it's going though.
2) If you hold select while plugging it into the USB, it should be able to charge (remember, though, that the OF charges MUCH faster than rockbox).
3) I don't think so.
