Creating playlists on the Sansa E280
(1/1)
donovan_t:
I'm totally blind, and a new Rockbox user. Is it possible for me to generate playlists for the sansa E280 on my computer, as opposed to on the player itself? The Sansa Media converter is completely inaccessible, so that's out of the question. I like to read audiobooks in MP3 format, and it is my intension to make each book into a separate playlist. However, I also want to fill my player with music, and don't want to get the two confused. Any tips?

Rockbox playlists are in standard m3u and m3u8 (m3u with UTF8 encoding) format, so any software that can output m3us will do. I presume you are on Windows, you can try Media Monkey.
As to the separation of music and non-music files, I use 2 hierarchies for that- "Musica" and "Other Audio".
