I have the best buy sansa e250R model using firmware version 1.0.2.165. I have searched but cannot find my problem listed. sorry if this has been discused. I setup my device to use the e200-manufac-driver and boot it into recovery mode. The device itself has this on the screen

I then run e200rpatcher.exe this is the output I get.

Attach your E200R in "manufacturing mode" as follows:
1) Power-off your E200R
2) Turn ON the lock/hold switch
3) Press and hold the SELECT button and whilst it is held down,
attach your E200R to your computer via USB
4) After attaching to USB, keep the SELECT button held for 10 seconds
NOTE: If your E200R starts in the normal Sansa firmware, you have
failed to enter manufacturing mode and should try again at step 1).

The device now has “ENTER USB2.0 MSD mode†nothing more it never says firmware unlocked. If I continue on and copy the OF.mi4 file to my devices system dir and the new pp5520mi4 to my root dir and install rockbox it updates firmware and reboots to the screen unable to load main image. I then have to load my old firmware file. Help I really miss my old e200 non r running rockbox…
