H340 always connected while charging

Hi,
i owned an H340 with a defect Battery.
When i plug the Charger (not the USB-Cabel) into the Player then the Player is always in USB - Mode.
I wonder if this strange Behaviour would disappear if i put a new Battery into the Player or if it would be a Waste of Money and Time.

I suspect that the USB detection is broken, and changing the battery won't help.

Thank you for replaying, but is there a known Way to fix this USB detection?

I imagine only by dismantling the player and doing some soldering...
