rbutil - The Rockbox utility need testing on Vista

Hi folks,

rbutil has had problems running on Windows Vista, we are now trying to resolve this, but unfortunatly we dont have access to a machine with Windows Vista.

So it would be very helpful if someone with Vista could try this build of rbutil:

and report back if it is working.
Especially the patchers, ie the bootloader installation on ipods and sansas.

Of course we are also interested in all other Bug reports you find in rbutil..

I couldn't run it. It says it is missing "mingwm10.dll".

looks like domonoky did a dynamically linked build -- you can get mingwm10.dll from http://www.stud.uni-karlsruhe.de/~uhcn/rockbox/rbutil/

I've used the Rockbox utility on Vista and haven't noticed any issues.  I'm not sure which version I have, but I think it's the latest one.

This question is about the version specifically linked in the first post. Please, be 100% sure that's what you're using, since it's a new testing version.

thanks for testing to everyone, the vista problem is now solved and commited to svn.

so no more testing needed on this..

of course i am always interested in bugreports on every platform.
