Cannot install boot loader

Hi all.

I have a sansa e250 and for some reason I get this error when using sansapatcher:

sansapatcher v0.6 with v4.0 bootloaders - (C) Dave Chapman 2006-2007

I have seen another thread regarding this, but I was not able to resolve this.
If anyone could help it will be greatly appreciated.

What version original firmware do you have?

If it is v3.something it is a V2 unsupported by rockbox.

Yeah, it's one of those...
Will rockbox ever support these versions?
