Undefined instruction at 0016C060 (0) on 5.5gen iPod

My iPod is frozen with this message displayed at top. I am unable to reboot. Help?

Flick hold on and off, then press and hold menu + select to reboot

Astorga:
it happened with my iPod 5G and my iPod mini 1st gen too

is there a way to really solve it?
or just rebooting iPod?
