Small question on Ipod nano 1st gen - box'd

Few days ago i had to format my Nano because any problem accured.
I was very suprised about the new way of getting Rb easily back on it ... i still remember the /cmd thing ... :P
whell here is my problem:
with the later version of Rb I connected my Nano ( while running Rb on it ) to Pc and it was booting again into Disk mode then detected (as Ipod Nano ) by Windows and shown on desktop.
If i procedere now the same way it issen't rebooting to disk mode and it is not detected as "Ipod nano" it is detected as a so called: " rockbox media player ". I dont have drivers for that player But i ....
1. can use the "rbutilqt.exe" on it
2. Cant see it on desktop as a drive.
3. have to reboot it by my selfe to the formal appel software
then it is using the  windows\system32\drivers\disk.sys
                                windows\system32\drivers\Partmgr.sys
to run it! then it works.

What to do ????

That's now the intended behavior.  The new USB stack currently requests the full current from the USB host.  You have to reboot manually into Disk Mode (or the original firmware) in order to establish a proper USB connection.

But Why? that is crap ! Hate this - cant do that with my very male kollosus Fingers all the time - it annoys me.
what if i Plan to delete the original firmware ?
and perhaps do you know the version it changed ?? ( to load that one on  the Nano) or can i manipulate rockbox my selfe to work as i whant it to ? and how ?

That's as much functionality as the current USB stack has.  I can understand that fidgeting with key combinations on the tiny nano can be problematic if you have large fingers.  Maybe that's reason enough to keep the OF for now.  Getting into the OF is easier since you only need to turn the unit on and immediately flick the Hold switch on.  Additionally, USB transfer rates are much faster via the OF than through the Disk Mode that's stored in flash (what the key combination Select + Play takes you to).

There's a note on the front page about the new USB stack.  That will give you info on when this change happened.  

(Please use proper words rather than slang like "thx 4".)

You can even turn the Hold switch on before plugging in the USB cable.  Plugging in the cable will turn the unit on, and it will automatically boot into Apple's disk mode.
