Double entries in the playlist

(1/2) > >>

I Rockboxed my Sansa a while back and it plays great.   I noticed a problem the other day.  When I queue tracks  to play, usually by album, I get two entries in the play list for each track.   Checking the "current playlist" will show two entries for each track and each will get played unless I delete the duplicates manually.
I've tried a few of the recent builds and the same thing is occurring.

The duplicates are *not* listed in the database and they are not on the filesystem, at least not where I've been able to find them.
I apologize if this is a duplicate post but my forum and bug report searches didn't turn up anything exactly like this.

I'm using a Sansa e200 with a 6GB SDHC, r16046-080110, BTW.
Any help woudl be appreciated!
Thanks!

AlexP:
Try deleting all the .tcd files in the .rockbox folder and re-initialising the database

rhughes:
That seems to have done the trick!   ;D
I'm going to watch more closely and see what happens after I've added various things to the queue.

Avid:
I have the same thing happening. I deleted all the .tcd files, and it didn't help. Every single song in my database is duplicated, and every time I turn off my gigabeat and turn it back on, It says that the database is not ready, so I have to install it again, and the process repeats.

I have a Gigabeat F20, with the latest build.

My database is and was OK as far as I could tell.   My problem was was with the "Current Playlist".    Right now I'm chalking it up to some corruption in the database entries.

My only current source of irritation is the fact that if the current playlist is EMPTY I have to "insert" the first track or album rather than queuing it.  It plays fine but that  first track or series of tracks stays in the playlist even as all the other queued entries get removed.
