Gapless playback problem on an iPod 4G

I have an iPod 4G and in the most recent build and also as of yesterday's daily build the gapless playback seems to be, atleast for me, broken. I am playing all FLAC files, and on every single playlist i try, the timer on the play back will stop 3 seconds before the track ends, sound will continue for 2-3 seconds, then there will be a 0.5-1.5 second pause before the next track starts. Any ideas why i am running into this problem, and any ideas if there is anything i can do to fix this?

I updated today for the first time in probably 3 or 4 weeks and am now experiencing the same issue.  Do you know of the last daily release where the gapless playback was functional???

Also, is it a 4G greyscale or 4G color?

My bad.  In my instance, it's the color/photo.

4G Grayscale for me, and no idea what the most recent working was, i originally installed rockbox a few months ago, worked most of the time, then last week i think i updated, it stopped working

on the same version i just had a gapless transition, when it failed to load the tags for the next song, and when it loaded the tags for the song after that there was a gap, so if i were to guess, even with the database loaded to ram, the loading of tags seems to be making it not gapless

I've noticed this problem, too.  But, I have it happening on both my X5 and my H140!  This is happening with the most current build r16096.
