My iPod is Gone!!
« on: January 13, 2008, 07:28:47 PM »
I installed rockbox and all was well, i had a couple games, some fonts and a backround. When i unplugged my ipod though and plugged it back in, it was read as a rockbox and my computer could'nt find an appropriate program to install it with. It does'nt show up anywhere, so i can't get rid of rockbox or put anything else on it. Any ideas?

If you want to connect via USB then you need to boot into Disk Mode.

Just so you don't think there's something wrong, Rockbox can't currently connect over USB on iPods.  It's being worked on, but for now you have to use either Disk Mode or the Apple firmware to connect to the computer.
