ipod database wont initialize

Seriously, what kind of answer do you expect from "ipod database wont initialize"? That's not even a question. If you want us to help you, it would be nice of you to provide a little more information. For example:
Which ipod are you talking about?
How do you know that it isn't initialized?
What have you tried to make it initialize?
Has the database worked for you before, or is this the first time you are trying to use it?

i have a 5g ipod video
60gb
and the reason i knew it wasnt initializing was when i told it to initialize it wouldn't find anything the number whould just stay at zero then the disk would shut off with rockbox still running

What file formats do you have on your iPod? AAC? MP3?
Did you load the files with iTunes? Did you buy the music from iTunes?

nvm switching to the regular bootloader fixed it but to answer your questions yes i used itunes, yes i have wavs, mp3, and aac's
