Really stupid installation question
Khaaaan!:
Hey everyone. Just found out about Rockbox, and figured I'd like to make the most out my music player, but I've hit what I'd call a wall of stupid. I'm installing the current build onto a 4th gen iPod Color, but the manual tells me to extract to the root of the player, and I don't know where that's located. I probably know what it is, just not the name for it. Any help?
AquaStreak:
The root is the start of the drive.
For example, if your iPod is drive I:/ to your computer, then I:/ is your root.
In your root, you should have folders like "Notes" and "Calendars" and stuff.

Please don't send people to third parties for tools. There's a perfectly good link to our patcher at our site.
