Ipod 2nd gen, 10 gig, wont turn off.

i just loaded the rockbox firmware, and everything works great, but i cant turn it off, nor does it shut off on its own.  its been sitting here for 2 hours now, not playing anything, but it hasn't turned off and holding the play button just restarts it. :'(

The first and second gens do not yet have suspend feature in rockbox, and it isn't actually possible to turn them off.  For now you need to restart to the Apple firmware and suspend it from there.

I'm actually not aware of a suspend function for any of the targets that Rockbox supports.  It's just that on most of the targets we can shut them down.

That is true, but given we cannot turn these off, I think amiconn has suspend for them on his list.
