Downgrading from 1.31K

Hi,

when I left my iriver plugged into USB for a night it discharged critically trying to boot up rockbox over and over, so I had to get it repaired. They insisted on installing the Korean 1.31 firmware on the player though, and I'm having trouble installing the bootloader like this.

The version 1.31K isn't supported apparently and I don't know how to tell the firmware to install a specific firmware - the only option I seem to get is "UPDATE FIRMWARE NOW?", and naturally it doesn't find any .hex with a version number newer than its own.

Any ideas?

afaik the h300 firmware doesn't check which version it's flashing so that should work, is the file named "h300.hex" and nothing else?

I found a H300.hex file in the directory that I must've tried it with. I downloaded an old Korean version and for some reason it worked this time. I think I used the 1.30 european one last time, maybe that had something to do with it or I messed up.
