Yes, it is a wonderful piece of free software. I can only imagine the time and effort each rockbox build requires.
I know the Rockbox team does not toot their own horn, and I have never seen a Rockbox developer or moderator ask for any type of donations for their time, effort, resources and bandwidth.
Therefore without any ties to any of the dev's, if you do enjoy Rockbox as much as I do, I would encourage everyone who has the resources to use the Paypal link and help out the team with their expenses.
Donations are by no means required, and I truly appreciate that the Rocbox team does not regularly "pass the plate" asking for donations.
The paypal link is pretty subtle, and it took me quite awhile before I even knew they accepted donations.
So just to let you know, if you enjoy Rockbox as much as I do, think about giving a little coin so that these guys can continue to improve and port Rockbox to other players.
I only hope when my Sansa finally dies, I'll be able to buy another player that is immediately Rockbox compliant. I can't think of using my player without it anymore.
