SanDisk Clip Sport
« on: September 04, 2018, 01:42:41 AM »
After slowly coming to the realization that the iPod Nano 7 is unhackable, I decided that my next candidate to run Rockbox should be my trusty SanDisk Clip Sport. However, the closest port for it I could find is for the Sansa Clip Zip. I actually tried to use it only to find out that the Clip Sport updates with hex files rather than bin files. I have no clue how to code in C or Assembler but I'm trying to learn. However, just as an idea, I decided to ask the Rockbox community if a port was known that is not here.

Thanks,
EB

This is probably our FAQ#1 in recent years. There will not be port for Clip Sport. Hardware is too constrained.

Ah ok, that makes sense. I just found an iPod Nano 2g anyway, so this isn't a matter anyway. Thanks anyway!
