script for automatic image convertion to 100x100 bmp

I'm writing a script in BASH which should convert all your albumarts images to 100x100 bmp images which are recommended for PictureFlow. It will scan your designated for images and if it find one it will convert it to cover.bmp (if does not already exist) (100x100p), if it find more than one it will display them using display command from ImageMagick and you will be able to choose one by closing the window with it.

It will be able to do it recusively for every subfolder and follow symlinks ,etc...

Do you think that such script could be helpful?

It would be cool to add a script like this in rbutil and also a script who will download covers from internet !

Providing a script to download images automatically for use as album art is tricky currently I believe - since the main source of such images (amazon) doesn't license those images for indefinite use, they're only for a limited period of time.

Of course, if you know of a site without such a restriction, then perhaps this could be implemented!

And what about walmart, buy.com, yahoo, google images ?
