Reboot error!

(1/3) > >>

Mosa:
I did everything what I could find in the manual to uninstall RockBox from my iPod Video 30GB. And now, there's a BIG problem.

When I start there is a wrong:

Rockbox boot loader
Version: 2.0
IPOD Version: 0xFFFFFFFF
TOSHIBA MK3008GAL
Partitaion 1: 0x0B 28521 MB
Loading Rocbox
Error!
Can't load rockbox.ipod:
File not found
Hold MENU+SELECT to reboot
then SELECT+PLAY for disk mode

My computer doesn't open my iPod, so I cannot use it like USB stick or MP3 player!
When I reboot my iPod and press SELECT+PLAY, nothing! What  shall I do?

PLEASE, HELP ME!!!

AlexP:
You have to get the timing correct when pressing select + play.  I believe you do it immediately after it reboots and hold them, but I don't have an ipod so I'm not sure.

The error you are getting is because you have not correctly unzipped a build to your ipod as in the manual.

Please change the title of your thread to something descriptive as required by the posting guidelines.

Mosa:
Now, I MUST download the iPod Bootloader! Where do I get it? I have forgotten it!^^

I try to reinstall rockbox to try uninstalling it again!

AlexP:
The bootloader is installed just fine.  All you need to do is get it into disk mode then correctly unzip a build to it.

LambdaCalculus:
Mosa, download this file and unzip it to the root folder of your iPod. That's all you need to do.
