Windows not recognizing iPod 80g

hey fellas, I decided to install Rockbox on my iPod because I got tired with using iTunes

but during the installation the ipod patcher program (the one that installs the rockbox boot on the ipod) would not recognize that the iPod was plugged in

i put it into disk mode and turned hold on and it still does not see it

also i checked that i downloaded the right patcher which i did.

Are you sure you have a 5.5 g not a classic?

its called the iPod Classic 80g video

And therefore as the front page of the site says, is not supported by rockbox.
