oh, i thought we'd be folding at home on our rockbox machines .  i was trying to figure out how that would be efficient in any way.

I never bothered with F@H because i never had a chance of being in the top outputters (and that is all fah is... dont kid yourself into thinking its for med research or some such...)

edit: got it going on my quad core... see how well it holds up...

It's a fairly convenient way of designating "This file should be made executable" anyway. Better than naming it .bin at least.

Bah, at $400 with a nice PowerPC-based Cell processor, it'll make a good Linux machine. Guess I'll have one around this summer, then.
