Sandisk Sansa e250R does not start anymore
MasTaT:
I'll give it a try!
MarcGuay:
I did it already... put a little header on the e200R install page.
MasTaT:
Oh nice. Good idea, it is easy to change this since it is a wiki page :) I thought about changing the manual but this is not part of the wiki.

Just wanted to tell you guys my story with my "rhapsody" - it says it's rhapsody on the back.
Seems it's a refurbished one aswell i went through the R-install guide.
I DID think it was something akward with my e280r display saying that it's not an rhapsody please use sansa patcher instead... attention people! :) I went through the R-install process anyway and promply half-bricked it (just the sandisk-logo, no firmware).
Unbricked with http://daniel.haxx.se/sansa/e200/1.02.15a.mi4 (american firmware since the player is from the states) from http://daniel.haxx.se/sansa/mi4.html (thanks bagder + matze) and the recoverymode (hold, press rec and boot player with power/menu and then copy the mi4 to the 16mb partition).
Now an installed rockbox for e200 works just fine; http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-sansae200/rockbox-buildch2.html
So... Yeah, do your homework before and don't be too eager rockboxing stuff ;)
