I have the current build of Rockbox (r16011) for the 1GB sansa c200 installed and it works fine, except when playing certain files directly. I download podcasts into a [root]/Music/Podcasts directory I created, and instead of trying to find them through the database, I drill down, through the Files menu option, and play them directly. On a clean install of Rockbox, this works fine, but after a week or two of usage, they will no longer play. I will click on them, and the little 'play/loading' symbol (in the top right) shows up, then disappears and nothing plays. The only way to play them, is to manually add them all to a playlist, then play them, but I'd rather not do that. Also, those files will play if I play them through the Database, but I'd rather not have to hunt for them.
All the podcasts are in mp3 format, no DRM or anything. What I like to do is, after I have finished listening to the podcast, I will hold the select button down on the file, until the menu option comes up and I will delete the file directly from the sansa, individually. Could this be screwing something up? This only occurs with that 'Podcast' directory, I have other directories of mp3's in the same [root]/Music/ directory and these play fine when clicking on them (though Files), its only the 'Podcast' directory, after adding/deleting files over a period of a week or two. A fresh install of Rockbox works fine.
Any insight would be appreciated.
