Resume play on startup

In advance, sorry if this in the wrong area or has already covered.

I just installed rockbox on my Gigabeat F40 two weeks ago am thrilled at how wonderful it is compared with the original OS.

But, I am such a noob that researching all the controls I still haven't been able to figure out how to make the F40 resume playing automatically when it starts up (navigating to the Resume Playing works of course, but it seems to me it would be nice if the default action in turning it on is to Resume Playing)

What am I leaving out/doing wrong?

  Rockbox rocks, but of course you already knew that!

I finally did the search properly so I'll answer my own question - sorry for taking up the bandwidth...
