h340 appears dead

I downloaded the H300(EU).hex file and patched it into my H340. I was attempting to alter the LCD settings for backlight when the jukebox screen went black. My PC won't recognise the H340 and I cannot turn it on. I would appreciate some help.

Have you tried the reset button?

Or maybe managed to turn the backlight off (the LCD on an H300 is impossible to read without the backlight) - reset your settings by switching on and pressing and holding the record button as soon as you see the bootloader screen (I think - its a l--o--n--g time since I had do resort to that or use the reset button)

Thanks, I used the reset button and the record button as suggested  to both get the screen back and to have the PC recognise the H340.
